Nidec Drive Technology (ABLE reducers) makes precision inline planetary gearboxes for servo and stepper motors. The range runs from the economical VRXF and all-round VRL, through the precise VRB and high-speed VRS, to the high-torque VRT with an ISO robot flange and the ultra-rigid VRG for machine tools and semiconductor equipment. All are lubricated for life and mount to almost any servo motor with an adapter plate.

Economical servo gearbox. A compact, cost-effective servo gearbox with helical gears for quiet running. It keeps the same mounting dimensions as the earlier VRSF series, so it drops into existing designs.
All-round helical gearbox, ≤5 arc-min. The all-rounder of the range: helical gears, a strong integrated planet carrier and high torque density, with 5 arc-min backlash for accurate, dynamic axes at a sensible price.
Precision gearbox, ≤3 arc-min. A precise, dynamic gearbox with ≤3 arc-min backlash and through-bolt flange mounting, which makes it easy to fit to many kinds of machines.
High-precision, high-speed gearbox. Compact and precise, for demanding positioning and high-speed, continuous-duty axes where low heat matters. Two tapered roller bearings carry high output loads.
High-torque gearbox with ISO flange. Very high torque density and torsional rigidity in a compact body, with a robot-standard ISO output flange for fast, precise indexing and easy installation.
Ultra-rigid precision gearbox. A quiet, highly rigid precision gearbox with 1 or 3 arc-min backlash, made for semiconductor equipment, machine tools and other high-accuracy machines. Flange or shaft output.
