Inovance PLCs cover everything from simple all-in-one controllers to high-performance EtherCAT motion PLCs. The H1U is an economical all-in-one PLC; the H3U adds high-speed I/O and electronic-CAM motion; the H5U is a compact EtherCAT PLC for synchronised multi-axis machines; and the Easy series is a full EtherCAT PLC range. Frequently asked questions
Which Inovance PLC supports EtherCAT motion control?
The Inovance H5U and the Easy series are compact EtherCAT PLCs built for synchronised multi-axis motion. The H3U supports up to 3-axis electronic-CAM motion via high-speed pulse outputs. For many coordinated axes, the H5U with EtherCAT servo is the usual choice.
What software is used to program Inovance PLCs and HMIs?
Inovance PLCs are programmed in AutoShop (and InoProShop for the Easy/AM CODESYS range). IT7000 and ITS7000 HMIs are designed in InoTouch Editor. We provide complete programming and screen design as part of commissioning.
Can I connect an Inovance HMI to a non-Inovance PLC?
Yes. Inovance IT7000 and ITS7000 HMIs include drivers for many PLC brands and Modbus RTU/TCP, so they can connect to Delta, Siemens, Mitsubishi and other PLCs as well as Inovance controllers.
Do you provide Inovance PLC programming for a new machine?
Yes. We provide full PLC and HMI programming, drive parameter setting, EtherCAT configuration and on-site commissioning. Share your machine sequence and we will quote the programming time.
